Science has proved its place in the school curriculum as it has produced desirable changes in students` thinking abilities, the way they react, live and their attitudes towards life.
Science can bring creativity, imagination, appreciation, learning attitude, development of skills, critical thinking and reasoning so that the students can understand the hidden concepts of world in which we are living.
The whole Science course is broadly divided into three strands.
- Life Science
- Physical Science
- Earth and Space Science
In Life Science students will understand, explain and analyze the basic needs of living organisms, the basic life processes of living things, the interactions and relationships of living organisms with each other and with environment and the diversities and differences that exists between living organisms.
In Physical Science students will learn about the properties and forms of matters and energy, their interaction with each other, their transformations and applications on the environment.
In Earth and Space, the students will explore the universe and earth, the eclipses and different theories about origin of solar system.
This Science courses comprises of 11 units which are completely integrated with technology, because now the technology has become an integral part of sustaining society, and its infusion with education is therefore inevitable.
